Monmouth Citizens If you’re a parent, taxpayer, or member
of the community, it is critical that you are well informed of
significant changes in education that directly
impact all cities and towns in Maine, including
MONMOUTH. Also RIGHT NOW next year’s school budget is being prepared. Our school system is facing big challenges in the face of State budget cuts, Medicaid cuts, and recent audit findings that point to severe problems in our facilities, all in a period of time when the economy is in a downturn and taxpayers’ own budgets are tight. The consolidation plan and the budget are subject to voter approval. What can you do?
